TripSync

Live

A group trip planner that drafts itineraries with AI and keeps everyone's plans in one place.

Sign-in with Clerk, Postgres on Neon through Drizzle, itineraries drafted with gpt-4o-mini, YouTube videos for the places on your plan, and Stripe payments wired end to end. Launching free.

The hard part. A payment webhook that never arrived during setup taught me to reconcile billing state from Stripe directly instead of trusting delivery.

Built with Next.js, TypeScript, Clerk, Neon, Drizzle, OpenAI and Stripe.

Grounded AI assistants

Assistants that answer from live data or say they don't know.

An assistant that answers transport timetable questions straight from live operator data instead of guessing, and a hotel-booking tool server that lets an AI agent search and book within hard money-safety limits, with payments handled on a hosted checkout.

The hard part. Keeping it safe for many users at once. I traced a booking bug to a shared cache and moved all booking state to per-session storage.

Built with Python, FastAPI, LangGraph and MCP.

About

I'm Dhiren. I build AI systems for work, and small, useful tools for my own life the rest of the time: a finance planner, an expense logger, a trip planner for group holidays. Most of what I've made started because I needed it myself.

Away from the keyboard, I started running about two years ago as a complete beginner, and now I'm chasing sub-7-minute kilometres. I fish. I listen to more modern country than people expect. And I'm a regular in Malaysia's Pokémon TCG scene, competing and trading.
